hey guys i need some stuff for the inside of my t5.

parts i need, a metric ton of syco keys... lol not a metric ton but i do need maybe about 10. all the keys seem to of broke when i reassembled it.

some shims that go behind the input shaft

the clip that holds the speedo gear on the rear shaft. its a clip not the ball style

and finally the rail itself that is circled in red in the pic. just the rail not the whole assembly. the part circled in blue is bent and i suspect thats why reverse pops out. as its the rail that moves 5th and reverse.

please let me know how much to 24015. thakns guys.

 

Look up Astro Performance in Florida, they have tons of T5 stuff...

 

i did thanks, its for ford though but the spring and key set i i think ican use. but the rest i found on ebay lol whas hoping to avoid all the hassle with ebay and getting to many parts and ofcourse the price. but gotta do what i gotta do keep this junk running till i get a lt1 t56

 

Stuff on the outside / mounting holes, etc... are different for ford / gm, but most of the inside is the same...

They do sell GM specific stuff, though not posted on the website...
My tired T5 got upgraded to an A5, Gforce Case, Astro gear set, etc...
If you need anything, tell em you're GM and they'll get you the right stuff...

thanks. and the stuff i need probably fits both thinking about it. lol and for the money i would spend to upgrade this trans to that level of yours i could buy a t56 cheaper. but it is an idea if i cant find a t56.

 

The A5 is an easy swap, and it's like 3 lbs. more than the stock T5.... Much lighter than T56. You do get 6 gears with the T56, but a lot more weight, different crossmemeber, clutch, etc... It is good to have options...
