i was looking and this manufacturer has 383's based on rebuild 350 blocks (perfect for a time strapped indivual such as myself) for 1600 and change and 400's w/ a 2 bolt for 1000 =/. They offer a seven year warantee but then again kia has a 10 year warantee on their cars and that dont say much. The place is truck-engines.com . Anyone use these guys before?

 

they clame a "1.7%" falure rate on their engines which is pretty good but ive been around a machanics shop every now and then and ive heard the storys about the occasional dud rebuilt engine they get every so often.

 

i take it by the lack of responses that no one has bought a rebuilt from these guys before...
