L03 to L98 parts list please??
You need:
1 L98
1 L03
buncha tools
some time
-------------------
Okay, seriously now: What/how are you planning on doing this?
You have three options as I see it:
1 - Purchase and piece together a TPI setup and wiring/ECM. Piece together a 350 from parts that you choose (heads, cam, etc). Put it all together in your car with some oregano on low heat and occasionally stirring.
2 - Purchase a complete L98 motor pulled from a car that doesn't need/want it anymore.
3 - Purchase a complete parts car that happens to have an L98 in it.
Without knowing which route you're going to take, as well as the years of vehicles/engines involved, it's hard to give a 100% "complete" parts lists.
Basics are:
- a 350 shortblock w/ good heads
- a TPI intake, runners, plenum, throttle body, fuel rail, and injectors (the more complete, the better.
- since you have a 90, you'll want at least an 87 TPI, for the distributor, centerbolt heads issue
- the wiring harness (as complete as possible)
- the ECM, PROM, and MemCal
- all associated sensors
- fuel pump
the Not-So-Basics are:
- PCV hoses
- vaccuum hoses
- coil, coil bracket, EGR solonoid/valve/etc.
- intake ducting
- coolant lines
- torque converter
- etc, etc, etc.
Basically, the more you buy at once (e.i. the parts car) the less you'll spend. The little stuff you're missing if you buy an incomplete setup will end up costing you more than if you'd just gotten it all at once.
