Need Some Help Guys!!

I have a slight dalima with the engine swap im doing.

I am useing old Double Humps that haved been worked. I was not aware at the time but now that there on the motor, I realized that there are no bolt holes for acsesories (a/c,alt, ect).

Besides taking em to a machine shop to drill/tap some new holes, what can I do? Can I just use that year model acsesories plates?

I need some help guys!!!!

I used the "long" style waterpump. This madw th alternator bracket easy. As for the PS, I had to customize a bracket off a caprice. I had to use a spacer to hold the bracket to the header bolt...Its real hard to explain but it can be done...get the brackets off a junked v-8 and "Make them work......or take the heads to a machine shop and have them drill acc. holes.

That would be the best thing to do anyway....I wish I would have done it why I had the motor out of the car, sure would have made things alot simpler.
Dont feel bad about not noticing the lack of holes.....I did the same damn thing, Got it all sat in there, and be damned if I could figure out all the brackets...I tried for a long time to figure them out. Finally I called a friend to come check it out...wtf was I doing wrong? Was I missing parts of the bracket or what....He came over and pointed out the lack of holes in the heads...

I haven't had any problems since, but It does look a little funny
The problem will be solved soon with new Sportsman II"s.

If you have the stock heads still, take a good look at them vs. the double humpers. What you'll see is a decided lack of material on the end of the double hump heads into which to drill and tap mounting holes. And, the surface isn't flat, so even if the holes were added, your brackets wouldn't mount onto them correctly.

Later or aftermarket heads would have been the way to go. You'll either have to rig up brackets that don't use the heads as a mount surface, or get different heads.

Dammit! That blows chunks! Well if i got brackets that were made for that year model heads and block, the A/C and Alt. would be on the wrong sides wouldnt they?

So WTF can I do?
