engine research...
Does anyone know where I can get the ORIGINAL year, make, and model my engine came out of? I have the casting numbers from the block and I just want to know the info to get the correct specs. Thanks in advance.

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
www.mortec.com is a good place to start.
There are also good casting # books available (seen them at our local dealers).
