I have a 91 rs with a 2.8 throttle body on my 3.1 engine or so I've been informed I recently found an 89 z-28 with a 305 tbi and I want to swap the 2.8 out and replace it with the 305 I have access to the z 28 computer as I have been told I will need one of the chips out of it even though my computer model # matched the z- 28 I may have access to another wiring harness to finish the job if needed I bought the manuel on my car from haynes and I was looking over my harness and comparing the two set ups there didnt seem to be anything dramaticaly different between the two ,So will it be possible to use the harness thats in my 91 now or will this require a complete ecm and harness change ? I live in an area that will require emmisions to be tested so I need to some expert facts Thanks Guys.
