Everyone says a v6 to v8 conversion is ***-awful and not worth it, but I've gotta get rid of this v6. I'm only 15 and my knowledge is kinda limited but I just bought a bare 350 block Im startin to rebuild, and I will get this done, and prove it's not that bad. Or maybe, Ill choke on my words and have a 3 year project on my hands. Any last tips or warnings? You guys rock, I love this board, Cyall later

If there is anything I can help you with let me know and I'll do what I can...Keep in mind though, I'm just a lowley carpenter that likes fast cars...
Have a great day and keep us posted on your progress

The easiest way to do this is with a factory V8 donor car similar in year to yours (especially if you have to do an emissions-legal swap), even if you don't use the engine from the donor car. There are a lot of parts that are needed, and getting them piece-meal from the junk yard will be more expensive and time consuming than just getting a wrecked or rusted out V8 donor. Plus, you'll be able to see what it is supposed to look like before you tear into it.
I assume you've looked over past posts to see what the parts change list looks like. If not, do so.
I had mine done before I found this board. Had I found this board first, I probably would have done what my neighbor did (as I had the V8/tranny suspended in the air, ready to stab) - skip the V6 car and buy a running 350 TPI car for $950 (needed paint).
