Mechanical fuel pump on Roller-cam blocks?
I am seeking a roller cam block that I can put in a carbureted pickup. I believe that the rollers came out in 87, but by then GM was no longer using carbs.
Is this true? Crate motors seem to have both, so what else does? Any help is appreciated - THANKS !!!!!!!!!!

87 blocks had fuel pump provision and all 87-up were rollers. Not sure when they discontinued the fuel pump boss; had to be in the '90's.
A lot of crate motors won't "work with" fuel pumps because of the cam, not the block.

On an 87 truck block, there was a blockoff plate. I grabbed the blockoff plate to use on my L69 when I added TPI.
