Advice Needed: Swap engine or sell and get 4th gen

Hey guys, As some may know I have a 1988 IrocZ Camaro 305TBI. It has 110k on the odometer. She runs fine beside a little bouncy idle. She looks Amazing! Chrome Iroc Wheels, original paint that still shines like new. The engine is getting old and I want faster car. I am debating on selling her and gettin an LT1 powered TA or Z28. What would you all do in my case. I REALLY love this car to death its my first car. If i did sell I would have to sell it to someone not from around here cause i coudnt bare to see anybody else driving it on th road. What do you all think? swap a 350? or sell and get LT1? I was already offered 6500 for her.I paid 5500. Thanks alot everyone!

Me I am an absolute sucker for the "look" of a third gen
Formula. If it was simply a matter of bang for the buck
you could do no wrong with a a fourth gen

(But my Formula would still look better )

I think the third gens look better than the new ones any day. Thats why they aren't selling enough, because the new cars are serious performers. If you had the money, a ramjet 350 would be awsome in a third gen. Has anyone done this yet?

if your just going to sell it to get a LT1 4th gen i would say just keep the car you have now, but if you were going to sell it and get a LS1 car, then thats a completly diffrent story

imo

tHIS IS just my opinion.. but I am thinking many might agree
with this..

the only 4th gens that I find attractive are the fully decked out
transams with the ram air.

I like the 30th Anniversary TA, the 98 WS6 ram airs.. etc..
but I am not really impressed with 4th generation PLAIN firebirds.. The Formulas with the 350 are descent when bigger WS6 wheels are put on em.. but the TA and Firehawks are really the eyecandy..

I love the look of the thirdgens better too though, and
I am glad I have mine, and I would rather make my third
gen fast.. because for one.. people dog on third gens all the time saying they are slow.. and I would rather have a third gen that blows 4th gens away, and shows up all those buttmunchers that
dog our cars all the time..

even my friend dogs on me all the time cuz he has a 95 z28 and hes always saying **** like when are you gonna get a real car that keeps up with mine.. etc.. When Im done I am gonna leave him at the light...
