Ok,
i'm thinking about swapping my 1983 firebird's 2.8, with a 305ci from a 1979 chevy impala, along with the impala's transmission (not sure of the type), what i need to know is everything i will need, other than the engine and transmission, to successfully do the swap. and if it's worth my time? i have the complete '79 chevy impala at my disposal.

Any info would be helpfull, mainly i'm wondering about motor mounts, mounting the crossmember, the driveshaft (can i use the old one? the impalas? or will i need a new one?), and wiring.
