Help Needed...non-3rd Gen but still CHEVY
Hey guys...I want to build a 350 (nothing too radical) to put into my 96 Chev 1500. I can get a pretty good deal on a block but it has a 2 piece rear seal. I want to keep the five speed that I have in the truck. What problem would the 2 piece rear seal cause me? I read on truckworld.com that a 350 block with a 1 piece rear seal would be a direct replacement. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
