Plumbing a fuel system

I would like to refit the fuel system in my TBI Formula...
I am not sure what to use. I guess what I need is a primer
on plumbing.

1. What sort of tubing should I use ...
(material, diameter, pros and cons)
2. Fittings ?
3. Bracketry ?
4. Friendly vendors ?
5. Tips and tricks ?

My stuff is pretty crusty and so I am not happy about reusing it.
Also there is an LT-1 in the garage so if there is a way
to do this so that the eventual swap is easier or at least
better prepared I would appreciate it.

I wasn't sure where to post this so if there is better place
let me know...

Thanx
