Cost should be less then $200. That's cheaper then a new MAF sensor!
Here's the techinal info:

Check out the prom board about burners. I'm not sure, but I think TRAX's article has some information added about burners. I got mine from a local electronics store. It was a slightly more pricey unit than the pocket programmer most of those guys are using, but I've never had a single problem with it, works flawlessly. Careful about what questions you ask over there, they're a little edgy on that board. Feel free to ask me what you want though If you've never done it theres some details you might wanna know about and things you'll need before you can start, and those are things that are really kind of glazed over by everyone. What they are usually talking about and most concerned with over there are what things to change, how, and why and to me thats no different than tuning any other setup including a carb. That, IMO, is the easy part. The hard part is getting to the point you know how to do those changes with a computer chip.

Why do you want to swap? Unless youre planning something unusual I think its kind of a waste of time. About the only advantage I'll give it is its easier to program and get more accurate than a MAF setup, but the minor HP difference on most applications isnt worth it.

my main reason is the fact that you can't get a bigger mass air sensor and it becomes a restriction in the intake

How much HP you plan on making? Right now I'm at 325 and I am nowhere near done. MAF is still there 'restricting' my engine.

Oh and in case you're wondering, I've hit that 255 g/s wall and gone past it ok according to the sniffer that was up the pipe on the dyno.
