Air Filter Box and Ducting(LT1 Swap)

Hey, Did you use your stock air box and ducting or go aftermarket or fab your own? It's for a 87 T/A with a LT1.

I used a 2.8 intake, gutted the air-box. Also used a TPI boot with "Dryer Aluminum tubing

" works great !

Axle/Gears: 3.54 R200 IRS

I used a 1LE bellows for the LT1 car, then put a HUGE K&N on the end of the MAF, soon i'll get a piece of 90* bent aluminum pipe to move the filter over more.

Remember this is a Trans Am not a Camaro, There different. My stock air box is on the passengers side and you lucky Camaro guys have it mounted up front.

so relocate the battery to the pass side or get a diff bellows, sheeshe

OKay, lets say I do relocate the battey, is there any way to make a KN FIPK work in that location ?
