1976 350 swap Oil dipstick question

1976 350 swap Oil dipstick question

I just swapped a 1976 4 bolt main 350 into my 84 camaro. The only problem I have run into with it is that the dipstick on those motors was on the driver side and using the stock hole it won't clear the headers. I was just wondering what you guys have done to remedy this problem?

Axle/Gears: Strange 12 Bolt, 3.42
I have 1 5/8 full length hedman headers and they worked with both passenger and driverside dipstick blocks. I had to bend the dipstick tube a little to make get it to fit the way I wanted to so you may try that if you haven't already. If that doesn't work you may need to buy a different type of header.
