Has anyone had the courage to put a 427 or a 454 in an F-body?
I'm just wondering what did you have to change as far as the electrical system, the tranny, and the chassis? Ihave a family member that has a 350 TPI, a 427, a LT1 and a 454. He said that I can have any one I want. Ijust want to know which one is less tedious for more horses

I personally would pic the LT1, but I do feel if cost is a matter stick with the TPI motor. Parts are much cheaper for the L98. Although if you do a search you will find many people have done big block swaps.

The best swap, if you have the bucks, is a 427 small block. I personally know a guy who has one & it runs 9.50 NA.
