383 Build up

This is my master plan to go fast. I currently own an white 1991 L98 t-top camaro with 67,345 miles on it. Me being the youth that I am I want to make this sucker haul some ***. So the plan of a stroker 383 was born I plan on Finding an L31 Vortec 350, , from a junkyard and taking it as far as money will let me. This is going to be a good year before I plan on putting the motor in to the car. THe Main question is what to use for the bottom end of the 383? Plans are to use a supercharger later in life so I want the strongest stuff for a good price. What are my Options? any good deals out there. Thanks for the help

i have heard good stuff about scat.

i also emailed them, and their billet steel cranks can handle over 1,000 hp. so can their h-beam rods.

if you run a supercharger you are going to need forged pistons as well. i believe you can get a kit through bill mitchell hardcore racing that will give you a 383 rotating assembly from crank to pistons and everything in-between for about 1800-1900 through summit.

good luck
