aight, i am doing hte 2.8 mpfi to 5.7 carb swap


what i know i need is,

the chevy 350
v8 Tranny
Radiator *do i need this?*
motor mounts
and new fuel pump..

now..my question is..what am i gonna do with the computer...i dont need emissions so im lucky there...and i have a solid car for the swap...can u guys tell me if this is all i need..thanks...

Well I haven't done anything like that but according to what I've heard from others on these boards, you'll need a new wire harness and as for the computer itself I'm not sure, maybe you can just have it reprogrammed for a 350 or somethin. If I were you I'd ask a GM/Pontiac dealer about it if nobody else here can help.

 

you will need the engine (duh)
tranny
radiator
adjustable fuel pressure regulator with a fuel return port (YOU DO NOT NEED A NEW PUMP AS LONG AS YOUR CURRENT ONE WORKS)
motor mounts
need to move a brake line
upper&lower radiator hoses
headers or some sort of exhaust

and since you do not have emissions, you do not need a wiring harness because you are doing this non-CC
