hey guys, queistoin about my rear for 2.8 to 350 swap

will it hold up? its the stock 2.8 liter rear end..dont know if its posi..i think its a limited slip...but..will it hold up...im dropping a z28 350 small blcok in it...j.w....thanks

sure it'll hold up just fine if it's in good shape and you maintaine it and don't abuse it.

Dustin, just a stupid question but in your sig, it says your car is a true z-28 that had a 305 and you put a 2.8 in?? Are you talking about the same car? The 3rd gen rears are all the same strength from 82-89 10bolt 26 spline, then 89-up 28 spline were stronger. (excluding the 9 bolt borg/warner) If you do have a 2.8 rear, it most likely has 3.42 gears in it

yea, its a stock sport coupe...i made that up..guess it sounded dumb..but...i didnt wanna be lfamed for having a 2.8 with z28 ground effex...lol..i am making it a true clone tho, cuz i just got done swapping suspension , and **** like that, now i haev the 350 on the engine stand in teh garage
