well i've emailed gmpartsdirect.com quiet a few times now and i have had no replies. they won't answer how much the ffastburn 385 crate motor cost. does anyone have this motor? i really want one. i want to know the price of one of these? thanks. ps.what would a 450hp 420 torque 91 trans am run in the quarter mile?

 

When i bought mine last fall it was $4,175 shipped! Now i believe they run about $4,195 plus shipping. It was around $175 for shipping last year. Look around, but that is the lowest i've seen it for lately. I got mine from Scoggin-Dickey, they are all about selling ****, and they have tech people who do not like to give me answers without an attitude! They have prices you can rarely beat but i am pretty sure they are in it for the money since their customer service blows! One quote i got was the guy had told me that he had "never heard of someone putting this motor into a thirdgen", yeah right! That guy was a dick so i hung up and called up Summit and ordered my water pump for 10 more dollars, oh well! good luck
