Hi, I have done about 3 motor swaps... but they were all V8 to a V8... so all the hoses and such fit correctly.

My next project is to put a small block 400 (pretty much a 350) into a camaro with a V6 multiport injection.

I have a few questions:

1)I am going to need new tranny cooling lines, new rad lines, engine mounts, tranny mounts, new radiator (shroud etc)...
since the car is fuel injected and we are going to carb... what needs to be done, such as linkages and stuff?

2)We will be using a HEI distributor, will everything just hook up into it? Or are some electronics going to be changed? I was really curious about the ignition... it worries me the most.

3)Brake lines come into effect at all? Any other lines or electrical and such come into play?

1. Yes they all change. The linkage needs to be modified.
2. You go from 700wires to 7....lable the wires as you remove them..change connectors at the Dist.
3. You have to move the brakelines back on the x-member.(the holes are there)
Basicly change everything that connects to the motor.
Any specific questions, I can help. The wiring is a breeze. You will need to modify the fuel system as well.
