do most aftermarket vac advance distributors have a broze gear that can be used with a roller cam? when swapping TBI to carb, and your faced with the whole distributor swap thing.. are distributor choices limited? would like the MSD street probillet ready to run model.. or pertronix flame thrower etc can you use those with a roller cam? if you cant... can you swap the broze gear from the stock one onto the new one?

what distributor would u use if you cant use those with a roller cam?

there is no limit to ignition choices with a SBC, reguardless of induction or fuel delivery system. you don't need a bronze gear with a factory roller, only with a BILLET AFTERMARKET roller cam. aftermarket stock replcement rollers also don't require a bronze gear. i doubt if you find many distributors with a bronze gear, you'll have to buy and install it yourself.
