ZZ4 help

I having problems getting a bracket for my 88 Camaro's A/c compressor. We did a ZZ4 swap, the 355hp version in place of 305tbi and the original bracket does
nt fit. -- any information would be of much use.

Thanks in advance.

Ryan

You dont need a new bracket you just need to drill a hole for the old bracket to work. Make a template from the old head and take a bit and mark the depth of the hole in the old head so you dont go to far in the new one.

that worked for you? or did your heads come with the correct drill pattern to make it a little easier to swap the A/C compressor mounting bracket

From what i understand, all zz4 motors need this to be done, wether it be a zz430 or say a fastburn! I will find out shortly.

Yup, it was that easy. But first I would make 100% sure that your bracket is the same as the one that was on my 91 L98 I think it is but just check to be sure. If so it is that easy.
