I just bought a set of Comp Pro Magnum Self Aligning Roller Rockers. Should I have gotten the non-self aligning ones and went with guideplates with my LT4?
Can self aligning ones be converted to non-self aligning?
Thanks

I think the general concensus is that you shouldn't combine guideplates and self-aligning rockers (but I don't see how it would hurt anything). As far as converting a self aligning rocker to a non-self-aligning, probably not. My opinion: Just use the self-aligning. I think they'll do the job just fine.

My only concern is RPM's. My setup should spin to 6500rpm. I was told that SA's were good to 6200rpm. NSA would allow me to spin higher.
Do you know what the physical differences between the two types of rockers are?

don't mix SA rockers with any part of a nonSA rocker locating system, holes in the head, guide plates etc. you can convert from one to the other ,just make sure you use or omit the parts you don't or do need. the lip or ridge on the rocker tip is the big differance between the two types and makes IDing them easy.
