i would appreciate any help or advice on swapping out a worn L98 in my '91z28 for a carb'd 327. im wondering if anyone has done this and what issues i will face in the process, parts needed, etc. also which 10" lockup converter to choose from? the tranny is basically stock except for a trango shiftkit.3:73's in the rear. here are the specs on the motor: '67 327-.30 over, 11:1 trw forged pistons, World Castings Sportsman II's 64cc 2.02/1.60, Lunati 300/300, 515/515 lift Bracketmaster cam(25-6500rpm) not power brake friendly, Ed. Torker 1 intake,hardened pushrods, true roller timing chain, 1.6 roller tip rockers/arp polylocks, Holley 650dp, carter strip series mech. fuel pump, Accel HEI/supercoil/8.8 wires, hooker super comp headers.Im sure a majority of you are thinking that sounds like the biggest pile of mismatched garbage on this forum, but this mouse was recently yanked out of my chevelle and it needs a new home. should i just rebuild the stock 350 or swap Thanks guys-mike

 

A few here have done it. From what I remember, you just have to deal with the electric fuel pump. You will need to figure out the relay and need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I do not know how you will deal with the brackets though.

As a sidebar, I may be pushing my LS1 swap up. I will be selling my 305 TPI and 700R4 cheap. If interested let me know. Good luck.
