i am looking for a 350cid chevy motor and i want to know if u think its a worthy buy.

he said the motor is a 350 out of a 74 nova with 95K original miles with transmission. he said they took the motor out in favor of a 400 chevy.
he says they were"both running well" when the swapped them.
the engine is complete with a two barrel, a points-style distributor, but has no emissions parts

he is selling the 350engine and turbo 350 trans for $500

i think he is asking a little too much for an almost 30 year old engine

 

to me all you're getting is a builder engine, it'd need tore down and rebuilt. i'd say 100 to 150 for the engine and maybe 200 to 300 for the trans. prices vary a lot from area to area so it may be a lot better price in your area than mine.
