NOT A WHOLE LOT MORE THAN STOCK
Thats what I hear anyways. I know My uncle put a 470 HP 520 TQ or so carbed 383 in his 91 z-28. It was an original TPI 305. Well, the t-5 lasted about 3 months. He did drive it kinda hard (But no harder than a normal guy with a brand new high HP motor would). And I beleive he had about 4 or 5 strip passes on it. Also the car only had 87,000 miles on it so the tranny wasnt really worn out. After it blew up he put some kinda 6 speed in it I dont know exactly what it is but it has lasted a year or so and no problems.
Thats just what I have experienced in person... I have read and heard that the t-5 held up to about 400 HP or so. You might just get lucky...I really dont know but I would try it and see how long it holds out

I have a 92 RS that came with a 305 TBI/5 Speed.
It currently has a 300 HP 350, Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch and
Hayes Billet Flywheel, 3.73 Posi rear, etc.
So far (after 17,000 Miles), the T5 trans is holding up, but I plan on replacing it next year (if it lasts that long) with a Tremec TKO or Richmond.
I scattered the Trans with the stock 305 once.
It all depends on how you drive it.
If you like to bang gears and/or launch hard with sticky tires, it won't last.
