454???
454???
I have a 92RS, 305 TBI, 5 speed with air. I have a friend who has an older 454 that he is wanting to sell, I was planning on a 383 crate, but he is offering me a heck of a deal, is it worth it or am I getting into alot of headaches with a BB. Any info would be appreciated.

It's not hard to do but the engine is the cheap part of the swap. It all depends on how much you plan to do. A very mild streetable BBC with cast iron exhaust manifolds is very affordable.

I helped drop an LS7 in an 84 camero when the LS7 first came out, everything fell into place, but the guy also bought the high dollar Hooker headers, the worst part about switching to Big Block is finding the brackets to bolt all the acc. on with, if you have these already, your a step ahead of the game.
