Arrghhh>>>help!!!

I am building a 383 for my 87Formula(LG4 305). My question is will my stock 305 oile pan fit my new 383. I'd rather not spend more$$$ on a stroker pan if it's not needed. Thanks.

it depends on the block you are using.
in 86 or 87, they started using 1 peace seal blocks, which I think use a different oil pan.
Also, after those same years, they began using passenger side dipstick, an older block is a drivers side.
once again, different oil pan.

Everything I have in 1 piece rear main, new motor too, I need to know if the crank will clear the old pan.

My first guess is yes the pan will fit with the stroker crank. Why don't you just test fit it the old pan? If it is on you engine that you currently drive, check your local junkyard for a similar pan.
