Hey guys, I have found a wrecked 02 LS1 TA for a good price. I know there have been wiring issues, but i plan to use the entire TA interiro as well. Will i still need some custom harness if I use the LS1, computer and all it's guages or are the wiring issues only with people trying to make the swap with factory 3rd gen guages? I was going to buy an lt1 bird, but for the same price i can completely swap an 02 TA into my formy. Thanks in advance for the help.

 

Just out of curiousity, how much did you get the wrecked 02 t/a for? I am debating on buying the engine packege or waiting for a wrecked bird.

There are a verity of wiring solutions for guages. The biggest problem we will face is the exhaust, engine mounts, and frame clearence for the a/c compressor.
