TBI to TPI conversion. Possible?

If I got a hold of a 5.0TBI F-Body could I convert it to TPI without any compatability issues? If I could do this - how would i? Just a TPI kit from a distributor like summit?

You need to check out the tech articles. The best bet for a cheap solution is to go to a junk yard and get all the parts off an f-body vehicle. This means all sensors and the intake. The distributor will be the same but years diffenernces for map sensors and mass air.Just check the tech art. and go to the TPI section for best results.

I was told that either Arizona Speed and Marine or Street and Performance had an add-on type harness that allowed an easy conversion from TBI toTPI...may be worth looking into, not sure on pricing.

LT1Guy, you got a web site for that conversion? I would love to go with a TPI in my car but I am scared to death about those wirese. Anything that could make it easy would be great.

Also for you guys that did the TBI to TPI how hard was it to replace the wires? Did the Dash board have to come out, what did it intail?
