I am starting to look around for possible new engines for my 89 RS TBI. I want to go with a 350 and get some where around 330 HP or around there. Whats the best way to go? Buy one, Make one. If you have bought an engine where you get it from, and how do you like it. If you made it what did you start with and parts used. Any information would be a great help. I want to try to keep the TB maybe later in life put in a TPI or something. Thanks alot guys

It depends on your budget.
I got mine used and rebuilt it. Seemed cheaper then buying the parts seperatly. Now I am selling it, I will probably buy another already put together. It just saves time.

I bought this crate motor for my 92 RS.

Very satisfied with it and so far it has 18,000 miles on it, since installing it last December.
They offer it with a different cam for tbi, which is the way I got it.
