i have a 1985 camaro iroc-z. it's 305 TPI with an automatic 700r4 trans. i want to know if i can swap my engine for a 1994 350 LT1. will i have enough room in my engine bay to fit the new engine? and what will i need to modify/upgrade in order to accomodate the new engine? how big of a job am i getting myself into if i make this decision? thanks

Also to answer your question yes it is possible to do the swap. It will bolt right up if you get rid of your air cond. If not you are getting yourself into even a bigger problem. You are getting yourself into a big project but if you have the knowledge, time, money and patients it does not seem like that hard of a thing. Read through all the links that I put on my post and you will get a better out look on things!!

Is the swap to an l98 easier? Can I use the same TPI, electronics, etc. that are on the 305tpi I have now?
