hey havent been here for a while. went overseas for 6 months when i got back found a 327 in the garage given by my brother.
just wondering if this thing fits in a 88 camaro. if so what tranny or parts would i have to swap.

The external dimensions of a 327 are completely different and will never fit in place of a conventional SBC!

The 327 block is externally identical to all SBC's from 1958 to the non-LS1 present. In fact, 327's and 350's were often made from the same casting #.
Only changes are things that have occurred across the line - one-piece rear main seal, roller cam, etc.
