help me finish off my parts list

what i have or will have by next week:
350 shortblock
set of heads
TPI system including entire harness, injectors, all sensors, etc
valve covers
computer controlled HEI distrib
dipstick
timing chain cover
bellhousing
14 spline 10 inch clutch disc (custom ordered from McLeod)
pressure plate
altenator
PS pump
water pump (dont know if i can use these 3)
harmonic balancer

what i will need:
flywheel
motor mounts
350 knock sensor
oil pan
re-ring kit for the 350
cherry picker
engine stand
headers/ y-pipe


help me remember anything i am forgetting

oh yeah i am swapping from a V6 to a 350 TPI

 

Are you sure all the 350 needs is rings? Might want to consider a more complete rebuild kit with oversize pistons and have the block bored to accept them. If the 350 has dished pistons now, this would be an excellent idea in order to get flat-tops.

Does this - "TPI system including entire harness, injectors, all sensors, etc " - include the ECM? Frame-to-engine fuel hoses? Regulator? (adjustable would be nice to have for tuning purposes)

A bunch of different mounts have been used in different models, so make sure you have 3rd gen parts on both the frame and engine. Have fun with the frame half (getting to the mount nuts inside the crossmember). Front springs should be changed to V8 type, consider a spring compressor and drop the a-arms to change the springs and frame motor mounts at the same time.

What cam are you using? Make sure its powerband matches the TPI, or get aftermarket runners for the TPI to match the cam. Porting the TPI plenum and base a good idea to get flow up.

Don't stop at the y-pipe. You need TPI cat & cat-back as well.

You'll need V8 brackets for the alternator & PS pump, if you don't have them already. How about radiator hoses, belts? Radiator? (you need a larger V8 rad)

Some PROM work may be required before you're all done.

At least now you have an opinion based on a quick look (after 11 days).
