I'm new to this whole car thing so bear with me... I am looking to swap a 305 4bbl Carb out of a 1987 Firebird to a 350 TPI. The trans is a 700r4. I've read the mechanical fuel pump will have to be swapped out for and electronic fuel pump. Also new flywheel , intake manifold...

What problems will I have too look foreward too? Particularly any wiring or computer prob's with a carb to fi control.

Will the stock exhaust headers mount to the 350 block without issue or will a new exhaust system be necessary?

What accessories are interchangable between 305 and 350 (I.E AC, Alternator, Water pump)?

Are there sensor/electrical issues going from the 85mph/idiot light gadge cluster to the TA/big circles style gadge cluster?

What is a torque converter?

Is there a site with good how to documentation about 350to305?
