Is this a possible swap?
It's rough but it has been done.

Jags that run also has parts but advance has better customer service. Give advance a call when you get serious and they'll talk you through what needs to be done and what parts you'll need from them. When you do order from them MAKE them give you a price break, the have some room to fudge around and will if your friendly about asking. It may only be $10 here and $20 there but that could equal quite a bit when your done, if not it'll at least cover shipping.

I actually did a LT1 swap with my '86 S-10 Blazer 4x4 and gave it a 100 shot. It was a PITA, but it worked and kicked a$$. Found out the transfer case doesn't like NOS in 4-HI (Don't Drink and Drive). I blew up the transfer case and sold it to put it blunt. I've got a manual on S-10 V8 conversions. I bought it in 1998 when I did the swap. Let me know what type of setup you have (Engine, Transmission, etc...) and I'll get you some specs.
