305 Carbed to 350 Carbed Guys
I'm considering the swap in my 85 IROC 5-speed (the GM crate 330hp or perhaps the 355). What problems might I encounter with the swap itself, the computer and chip, fuel delivery, etc.? A list of your set-up might help all swappers.

I personally am in the middle of the swap right now but i went with all non computer controls. But I also know when emissions come I will fail. Your fuel dilivery should be upgraded it will work but not to the true potential of your engine. I would also think that you need a chip for your computer so it send more fuel to your 350. Other than that it is a pretty easy swap. Ha ve fun with it.

I responded to this post on the Carb forum.
The carb chip doesn't send more fuel to the engine. The feedback is based purely on the O2 sensor - so if too lean, it fattens it up; too rich, it leans it down. Regardless of what chip you use (there's no "fuel curve").
Not sure what you mean by "fuel dilivery should be upgraded". A good quality, standard replacement mechanical pump with bypass will feed all but the most wild 350 (and by that time, you're beyond the capability of the computer control system). In their ZZ4 conversion kit, GM used an in-tank fuel pump w/regulator, but it was really overkill (and more of an attempt to avoid any vapor lock issues than ensuring adequate fuel supply).
