If I were to take a 140hp 305,with a summit (intake)204 (exhaust)214 degree cam, 1 5/8 hedman shorty headers runnin to 2 1/2 inch daul exaust,performer EPS daul plane manifold. Open element K&N filter. Removed all airconditioning. How much hp and torque
DD2000 says 240hp at 5000rpm and 290torque at 4500 rpm.
Any idea what I would run in the 1/4 with 2:73 gears and 350 auto trans.

Also, what times,hp and torque would I get with the above and ported heads? DD2000 says 275hp at 5000rpm and 305torque at 4300rpm.

)Wow I think that computer program is shooting a little high with the porting but saying that you actually make that much power from the motor, the rear end is going to kill you! Swap that out for 3.73, your trannies overdrive gear will still keep your gas mileage decent. My GUESS @ the 1/4 mile, MAYBE high 14's. Realistically you would be in the mid to low 15's. BEST bet is to save all that money and do it to a 350 instead. Lots more potential and better bang for the buck. OR get a new rear end with better gears. Don't spend the money on that stock 305, if anything rebuild it with better pistons, etc. (Then you could add Nitrous or a blower!!!!)
