What is the largest engine that you can put into an 84 trans am. and if there is anyone who lives in wisconsin or anywhere for that matte, where can i get one. I have a winter project and i want to get a fast motor that is very ballsy.

 

How much fabrication do you want to do? You can fit in any motor but once you get into big blocks you had better be prepared for alot of work/money to shoe horn it in there...

 

maybe i should just build up a 350 and slide it in easy, then put addons later, however i really want the older engine like from 79 with the 400 block.

 

too bad you don't live in IN, i have a 71 chevy truck witha bad-*** 400 smallblock, been rebuilt, cam, intake, carb, new distributor. i'm selling the whole truck for $700 just to get rid of it. tranny acting up
