2.8 to 5.7 swap

Ok folks, I'm doing the old, out with the V6 and in with the V8 swap. I bought the 5.7 without the car (now I'm wishing I grabbed the car too) and I'm looking for diagrams, detailed pictures, how to books, anything at all that may make this a little less painless. If you have anything at all I would be most grateful if you could mail it to my e-mail address. kentcharles@hotmail.com
Thanks for your time and consideration.:hail:

are you trying to find out how to build the 350 or just bolt it in? i went from the 2.8 to a 383, and it was very easy. what tranny are you going to put in. let me know, and i will be happy to help you.

Well the rebuild is going to be takin care of so I'll be pretty much bolting it in. I have a auto tranny that came with the motor... I'd like a t5 however I'll be taking it easy on it because I hear that they like to gernade with too much power. Anyways I'm running TPI and I guess what I'm really concerned about is wiring and vaccum diagrams..... I have the driveshaft, the dual electric fans, the v8 rad, the the dual cat y pipe, and the complete engine bay wiring harness. What I need also is advice on a cat back system, springs for a v8 - Lowering springs, or the GM springs - 1LE (if I can find them....) or the F41 option springs (I know I can get them).
I think I'm pretty much set but to be honest I'm crossing my fingers.

Im doing the same thing im putting a 350 4 bolt and a Turbo 350 tranny in a former 2.8 bird I should have it done about a week after christmas i need about $250 $300 to get it to run not drive about another $150 for a radiator and custom drive shaft. So the day after x-mas im going to summit racing which is about 15 minutes away and getting a set of headers, solid motor mounts, gaskets and some other stuff I will have less than $800 in my car to make it drive total including what I paid for the car but is becoming a drag car because i cant insure it i cant afford because im 16, i can barely afford to drive a 100hp plastic saturn that looks like a car from fast and furious (i thought hopped up 4 cylinder cars were cool about 8 months ago) $140 a month insurance + 35 mile to the gallon = $15 dollers of gas a month luckely my parents help out with the insurence, ill let you know how it goes
