I have a pic of one...... but it's not mine.
It's a blown 468 that someone who comes to this board has. It's a sweet car!!!!!!!
I'm sure someone on here will recognize it and tell you who's it is. I'm sure you'll find him in the "Power Adder" board.

Hey, Qwk, when you had the HSC headers bolted in did it appear to you that the exhaust could be routed without the SFC's giving you problems? I was just figuring on routing the tubes straight back and dump in the wheelwells so I'm trying to find out what SFC's are going to fit with the exhaust setup.

Hey, Mike. I've never had my subframe connectors up yet. However, this summer I did see a big block in Peoria with dual exhaust and the Hooker headers and frankly it didn't look like a big deal once it was in. But there were no subrame connectors on the car. In other words, I don't know.

A friend of mine has hooker headers with a dual exhaust it is great. Both pipes run together on the pass side of the car and the mufflers are at the rear bumber it looks and sounds great with no ground clearance problems.I believe Kooks did it out in Long Island. I also have duals on mine they go straight back and exits at the rear end ,but i have a ground clearance problem 3 1/2 pipes.

I just put up my Kenny Brown subframes today. The driver side looks to be a problem for the Hooker headers but the passenger side looks good and clear. The only problem is the Y-bar to the tranny tunnel. Other than that they are very unobtrusive.

Thanks for looking Jon. I'll probably get it all in then see about having some made up. I talked to Brandon and he said his design could easily be modified to fit if it runs how I'm thinking.

Couple more pics of this one...sorry for the low quality; the prints had a rough surface on them when I got them back, and I wasn't able to scan them with too much detail.
The first pic was taken at Miramichi Dragway the day I saw it run 11.44 (I forget the mph). That's 6" diesel truck exhaust tubing, BTW

I don't have much other info, except it's a 91 Z with a rebuilt crate 502 with a fourth-gen six-speed. The car was bought as a theft-recovery and he replaced the quarterpanels and interior, added the engine/trans and a Harwood cowl hood.

Hey Daz....
I just checked the original print, and it is an aftermarket piece, painted (or powdercoated) red, as are the tubular LCA's and LCA relocation brackets and panhard bar. Can't make out any manufacturer's decals though (Spohn's maybe??) It looks like there is an adjustment on the rear of the lower TA bar.

I hear the big blocks in a 3rd gen have a tendancy to over b/c they don't have as much air flow like a car with a reg grill does. anyone have a problem like this on the street in the summer with a big block 3rd gen???
