LT1 Swappers and the Swap Guide

Ok, I guess the easiest way to do this thing is going to be for everyone to post as much general information about their swap as possible, and then we can all e-mail more detailed information and photos and stuff if necessary.

Engine:
'95 Z28 with Auto, used T-5 and had computer reprogrammed

Wiring Harness:
Modified stock harnesses

VATS:
Yes

A/C:
Yes, used CarQuest adapter, kept compressor in 4th gen location, notched frame

Powersteering:
Mounted reservoir on custom pedestal next to coolant overflow tank. Used original hardlines under radiator to connect to steering box.

Fuel delivery:
Kept most of 4th gen plastic lines and 3rg gen hard lines. Used custom lines with -AN fittings and barb fittings to mate two together.

Stock TPI in-tank pump

Cooling System:
Stock 3rg gen radiator and fan. Goodyear wire-bound hoses connected 4th gen style.

Driveline related:
Original T-5 with Centerforce DF clutch. '95 Z28 posi unit with 3.42 gears

Axle/Gears: 3.73 9 bolt
Driveline: 1993 LT1, with stock 1990 700-R4

Wiring Harness: Modified stock

VATS: NO

AC: Notched frame, but havnt made line yet.

Fuel Delivery: Walbro 255lph intank, 3rd gen Lines with 4th gen ends welded on.

Cooling system: 4th gen Radiator and dual fans. Used 3rd gen fan shroud.

Drivetrain related: Vigilante torque converter, 87 Posi 3.73 9 bolt with 93 Z28 Brakes.

Wiring Harness: What came with the engine, just merged with the old one.

VATS: Yes

AC: AC delete pulley

Fuel Delivery: 1992 TPI fuel sending unit

Coolint system, Corvette 1994 Rad

Tranny: 1993 4L60 Non electric, the only years like that. Kevlar clutchplates, different valve body, corvette servo.

Power Steering: Same as TexasLT1

Axle/Gears: 3.54 R200 IRS
Engine: 93' LT1 -f body.

Intake / computer / wiring- stock 94 f body.

VATS: painless bypass module.

Fuel delivery: new stock tpi replacement pump on stock sending unit, custom stainless braided AN lines sending unit to fuel rail, reused LT1 rail connector.

Power steering: custom AN high pressure hose and high pressure rubber return.

A/C Delete: GM idler # 10115875

Trans: 94' T56, dual friction clutch from local shop, spohn stock type crossmember notched to clear alston racing tubular sfc's, Pro 5.0 shifter.

Gauges: all electronic autometer ultra lite, inlcuding 160 MPH speedometer.

Exhaust: 1 3/4" non AIR single cat slp headers, 3" cat, 3" pipe to single in/out hooker aerochamber with 3" 90* dump.

Air intake: GM 1LE bellows with 3.5" id K&N cone clamped to MAF.

Cooling: Stock 4th gen radiator and fans, moroso fan turn on kit auto 185* primary, switched secondary.

No, programmed out by PCMforless.

A/C:
No, 1LE A/C delete Pulley.

Powersteering:
Mounted reservoir by Strute Towe. Used hardlines from Caprice going under radiator to connect to steering box.

Fuel delivery:
Used tank and hanger from TPI car, rubber lines connecting to Caprice nylon lines with quick connect fittings at engine.

GM high performance pump (can't remember LPH at 44 PSI).

Cooling System:
Silicon hoses stock from Caprice, new replacement 4th Rad. Dual electric fan setup from some type of 3rd gen. 160* programming and T-Stat.

Driveline related:
95 4L60E, stock 3.08 Rear End (ugh).

Haven't done it yet

Fuel Delivery:
External In-Line Holley 255lph Pump, running -8an braided lines to fuel rail and -6an braided lines back to the tank.

Cooling System:
Stock 3rd gen radiator, Dual Fan Setup, 160 stat

Driveline:
3.42 4th gen rear, no tranny at this time, stock driveshaft.

Other mods:
LT4 Heads and LT4 Intake, upgraded valve springs, running in Speed Density Mode,
