396 BB in 84 Camaro?
A friend of mine has an 84 Camaro w/ cracked 305
block. After picking up a 396 BB from a Chevy
Nova, we were wondering how much trouble it would be to drop that one in the Camaro? This will be for a track-car only, so legal requirements don't have to be watched ...

Welcome to thirdgen.org. As mentioned above, do a search through the archive. The question about dropping a BBC into a third gen is asked at least once a week. The 396 is just another BBC and is no different than any other short deck BBC up to 540 CID.
