4 cyl. to 350 swap

I picked up an 83 camaro in average condition for $300.,pulled out the four-banger and auto tranny and am planning to put my already built 350 in it, I have plenty of car experience but I need some help here. I `m doing away with the computer, never done that before, I`ve gone around one by running wire from fuse box for HEI and pre- computer Quadrajunk but what should I do here? Please help!

There's no need to run any wires, except where the 4-cyl wiring won't bolt to things on the V8. All you have to do with the computer wiring is pull it back and coil it up off to the side. It has nothing to do with gauges, ignition, alternator, or anything else besides itself.

Wire the distributor to the back side of the key switch, so its hot when the key is on. And used the stock wiring harness for the alternator. The computer will never know the 4cyl is gone. Everything else will work normally.

Went though the same head aches you are going through 4 years ago.
