TBI to Carb. What to Replace?

I have purchased a 91 RS 5.0 w/ TBI and I dont like it too much, so i want to convert to carb. I have an intake and carb but the intake is for a pre-1986. Is there any way I can use my manifold, by the way its an Edelbrock Performer RPM. What else would I have to replace besides the inake and carb. Thanks in advance for all advice.

Uh oh ... you just angered the TBI gods. What don't you like about it??? The cam, gears, and exhaust are pretty much the main things that are holding it back. They are easily fixed.

You should be able to use that manifold i believe. I think it should have EGR but im not sure. Im not to familiar on after market carb manifolds. The only thing that signifies pre-1986 is the fact that thats when they switched from hydralic to roller cams. So you should be fine.

I know "brodyscamaro" swapped a carb onto his 305 when he had it.
