L98 will be ready to go in the car this weekend. Just wondering it it's easier to unbolt the bellhousing and pull the motor out itself, or pull the motor with the trany still attatched. Also, should i wire up the engine while it's on the stand or should I put the harness in the engine bay and set the motor on top of it and wire it up that way? Thanx.

Leave the tranny in the car otherwise you will need to disconnect the driveshaft, tranny linkage, crossmember/tranny mount and then to top that off; your gonna have tranny fluid spill out the back of the trans.

The only thing I would wire up is the distributor and wires, then take off the cap with the wires attached and drop the motor in.

My .02 on the deal.

Keep us posted on how it goes......

Usually alot easier to put the trans in first, then drop the motor in.
