I talked to a major engine remanufacturer and asked the sales person what 350 would he put in my 1984 LG4 305 CAMARO. He suggested a LB3 with flat top pistons and street cam. I can go short block for less money. What vin would work on my application? I thought I could custom build in this fashion.

 

The CHVLB3 olso had 194 intake valves and high volume oil pump. 260-275 horses. 2 bolt main drawback. 927.00 and 200.00 core. You know I dont have.

 

not sure what you're after with the upgrade to a 350 but if it's preformance i'd tell the salesman to put the crack pipe down. there's a lot of 350s better suited for preformance applications, like a zz4.
