v6 swap to v8

hi every one, thats it im sick of loving my car but still its only weak little 2.8 i realy want to drop a 350 or even better a 400sbc into it. also going one step farther then that i want to take out the intier computer system, i hate that ****. so please any help full ideas or suggestions please feel free.

i would highly suggest getting a v8 donor car....this topic has been covered a lot, i would try a search.

What year is your car? if its carbed and you wanna stay that way it will be easy... get your motor, v8 motor mounts, v8 springs, and i think you'll need a new tranny but i think the v6 and 8 tranny's are the same (i could be wrong)

The V6 and V8 trannys are different... I made the same mistake before. the mounting areas and the like are the same, but the bellhousing bolt patterns are completely different. A V6 transmission will not bolt up to a V8.
