I was gonna go with orange, I know I need a high heat paint, but what brand should I go with. I don't want to go to some retail store and buy some **** brand that'll melt off.

An engine builder told me that if your motor gets hot enough to burn Rustoleum off you will probably be taking it apart again anyway. So far it has been fine on my heads and the clear is holding up on the intake, plenum, and runners.

That is why I paint my engines ... not only does it make them look new and shiney, but I can also tell if it has over heated (in case the gauge fails, or a hot spot, etc ... ).
Heads, if they are cast iron I paint them, if aluminum ... no.
